Have a good attendance record at school, work, and/or extracurricular activities

       I have worked at Sweet Scoops for the last three months. When I first worked there it wasn’t much of a change from my last job. I worked at Jackson 10 Movie Theater previously, and I did concessions there. At Sweet Scoops, I scoop ice cream; make shakes, cupcakes, cakes, and cones. It is a very fun job and I love working there.

       When you are committed to a job you need to make sure you have good attendance. You have to be there on time and take appropriate amount of days off. I asked for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday’s off from open time-6:30 because I have volleyball practices and tournaments on those days. I make sure I don’t take anymore time off than that because I want to show my commitment to my work and not my social life.

        A good attendance means a good paycheck, and with college being right around the corner I need a good paycheck. In my personal life, I know to keep a good attendance record for school, extracurricular activities, and work because of working at Sweet Scoops. The better the attendance the better your success will be. In my work life as a therapist, I will know that a good attendance will show my co-workers, managers, and boss’s how committed I am to my job.
