Learning Spanish was one of those subjects that I wish I could of done great in but I knew that there was no way. It’s not that I didn’t have good teachers, or never studied, it’s just learning how to speak Spanish was equivalent to pigs being able to fly. I couldn’t roll my tongue, or even count to twenty.

Since I struggled so bad my teacher, Mrs. Tripp, found a good way to organize all of my notes in a cool, fun, easy way. We took flashcards and stapled them on a piece of paper, so whenever I needed to look something up, I can look for the tab and just flip it up to see my notes. I was upset she didn’t show me this earlier! It made a huge impact, I was able to finish my homework way faster than usual. I chose to use my study guide as an exhibit because it was the only thing that really had a positive impact on me in Spanish. I will definitely use this learning strategy in the future when it comes to tests and exams in college.

In Spanish 1A, we took a speaking proficiency exam. As I said before, I was not good at speaking Spanish. On this test, I received a 97%. I would have never have guessed that I would have gotten that good of a grade, because of my previous struggles. I chose to use that assignment to show that if you work hard enough you can succeed in anything you put your heart into. I will use this assignment as a reminder that if I work hard, results will show.
