Accept new and changing responsibilities

Eighth grade was one of the best years. I was at the top, being the oldest in the middle school. I loved it because all of my teachers were amazing and understanding. My volleyball and basketball team was undefeated and we won many tournaments. I had a lot of friends and I was really starting to find myself.

Freshmen year began the next year. At the beginning, I was nervous because I knew everyone hates the freshmen. I was nervous because I heard how hard the classes were and how hard the transition from middle school to high school was.

On my first day, I saw so many people I haven’t seen in a while, including my older brothers. They definitely made high school harder, but it was also nice to have family near me and they already went through this so they had a lot of good tips. Freshmen year wasn’t bad at all. It was a huge transition because the classes were harder and your grades actually mattered.

Accept new and changing responsibilities is an important skill to have in life. I’m going to have to use this skill again when I move to college. This will be a bigger transition than moving from middle school to high school. I will leave my family and start new friendships with my roommates and classmates.

As a therapist, success depends on me being understanding. I will gain and lose many clients but I will accept new and changing responsibilities. Accepting new and changing responsibilities shows that I am a hard worker and care about a job and wants to see it done well.
